Keyhaven with the Hasselblad 907X, April 2024

I haven’t fired up my Hasselblad 907X all year. I know.

After the recent family upset I was left feeling a little bereft, finding it hard to concentrate on anything and to get any sort of motivation going. One of the places I most love locally is the sea wall that links Keyhaven to Lymington so I headed off there one morning for a short walk with my daughter with the 907X in hand.

Camera: Hasselblad 907X
Preset: Nirav Patels Timeless Color Collection

I had forgotten just how crisp the images are from this camera, and how awkward it is to use on a bright day. As it only has an LCD screen and no viewfinder any sort of sun-glare can really make seeing what you are shooting kinda tricky. Still it’s worth the trade off for the quality and for being able to use the older Hasselblad V lenses.

This walk was only short but it was enough to kick start my photography mojo once more - thank goodness that’s back!
