Rollei B35 with flash
I bought this little beaut from Film Furbish after I dropped my previous model. This is the second model I’ve bought from this company and although it’s pricier than playing eBay roulette but get a fully serviced camera with a warranty. I’ve had this Rollei B35 for a couple of years now and only used it once and that was without the flash. This was the worlds smallest 35mm camera in the world at the time of its release - but that doesn’t mean it’s not quality - it’s brilliant!
I’m always initially apprehensive with zone focusing, but every time my judgement of ‘that’s about 3 metres’ never lets me down. It does slow things down a bit, but not frustratingly so. And the flash was a joy to use - this is my first foray into using any sort of flash, after 12 years of photography it’s about time ey. Oh boy do I love the effect, especially on the fungi.
If you're looking for a lightweight film camera that delivers good quality images I highly recommend any of the Rollei 35s - and Film Furbish 👍
