Pig Bush on Ilford Delta 100

A gift from my father in law, an ex crime scene photographer for the police, the Exakta RTL1000 had been in his attic for a couple of decades before it made its way to me. He chose this make because of the fast shutter speed/

Chunky in weight it can produce beautiful results, or it has previously, but not this time. When focusing, the lens started to detach from the body in my hands. I’m not the most technical of people but I suspect it needs some sort of greasing / freeing up. A job for a quiet day in the future.

I want to keep it working and I use because of the family history connection that’s for sure.

It was a bitterly cold morning at local favourite morning walking haunt, Pig Bush. At -2 degrees I didn’t want to spend too much time squatting in the frosty ferns taking photos!
