Home developed using Ilford Simplicity Kit.
My guesstimate of how long the film had been in camera was confirmed when I tried to wind on the film at the end and it stuck solid. Into the dark bag with the camera and a few minutes of grappling round blindly the film was out of the camera and loaded on to the reel for developing (which I was very excited about as I had no idea what was on the film!)
A couple of my images came out too dark but thankfully those are the ones that got torn when rescuing the film when it was stuck in the camera. Silver linings and all that jazz.
Developed with an Ilford Simplicity kit. This would work out pricey to do every time but if you are new to home developing then this is a dream to use!
There were a dry few hours in the morning before the afternoon of AllTheRain™ and in hindsight maybe I should have taken a camera out then but I didn't want to miss the opportunity to get out on my bike. There was only one thing for it... taking photos indoors.
I should mention at this point that I rarely take photos at home, around the house or indeed of my family. I actually enjoyed the challenge to find something to take a photo of - even if it was just my bed.
When I picked a camera from the shelf I realised that there was already a roll of film in there, 4 images of which were exposed. I had no clue what film or how long it had been in the camera but at a guess 2-3 years.
