99. How Does Your Garden Grow?
Firstly I'm sorry for how late in the day this weeks HDYGG is up. We were due to return from Somerset yesterday but the weather was so glorious and the yurt (at Somerset Yurts) was so homely that we stayed on for an extra night.
As with any break I return home to play 'catch up'; with my husband, with piles of washing, with family down to stay, with my inbox. But like after all good breaks all I really want to do is sit round in my pants eating sandwiches, sipping gin and editing the photos taken from our time away.
Without further ado, photos this week are from Hestercombe Gardens and a sneaky few first from Emma's garden. Emma kindly made me copious cups of tea when I sprained my ankle, but I wasn't going to let a hobble stand between me and some covert garden shots ;)
Are your eyeballs braces for a colour shock?
You see that pillar above with the rose and wisteria trails wrapped round it? Here's how it looked last Summer when it was 'in bloom'...
Thanks to all who joined in last week, some faves include: Digging and sowing , creating a garden in the desert, planting apple trees, beautiful Nashville mustards, the enchanted forest, the April fool and getting to know a new garden.
The 100th How Does Your Garden Grow next week! Wahey! Maybe I'll even sort out a new badge... until then garden-amigos! x
