After last weeks post from indoors I pulled up my socks, donned my thicker cardy, tugged on my wellies and headed out into Grandads garden. The grass was sodden, bordering boggy in places. There's been so much rain now that there's simply nowhere left for it to drain away to. Now you know how much I love spending time in Grandads garden, how Kitty loves to run ahead of me shouting 'Over here! Take a photo of this!' whilst pointing at anything of any colour? Well even with that much love for the garden I still found it hard work to tear myself from the roaring fire indoors post-Sunday roast dinner to squlech about and take some shots. But boy oh boy am I glad that I did - because look what I found... *beams from ear to ear*
SNOWDROPS! These excite me greatly, because snowdrops are followed by crocuses (or is it croci ?) that are followed by daffodils which mean Spring. Spring means colour, baby bouncing lambs, hyacinths on my windowsill and the promise of the Summer to come. Elsewhere in the garden...
Thanks for all your get well soon wishes, I'm pleased to report that although I still feel pretty rubbish the consultant has found out what is wrong, I've 5 fibroids causing my lethargy, pain and all the other unpleasantness that's been worsening for the past few months - I'm feeling really positive that they know what's causing it now and can treat it and that nothing sinister lurks within me. A big, happy sigh of relief here today.
