Editing photos for a more beautiful blog
Us blogging folk love sharing photographs, be it a Silent Sunday or Saturday is Caption Day weekend photo post or an picture accompanying a post we use images to enhance the appearance of our blogs. There are some really simple, quick and free things that you can do to enhance your photographs that you add to your blog. This post has been inspired by some of the lovely photographs in 'SnapShot Tuesday' over on Love Photo Blogs today.
The tool to make your blog more beautiful ? Picnik. A free online photo editing site, Picnik give you huge scope over enhancing your photos. It's completely free (although there is a premium service where you pay something like £24 per year which gives you even more scope) but the free option gives you more then enough to change the way you view your photos forever.
So today I asking for you to mail me a photo, any photo you like - I'll pimp it in Picnik and pop it up on here (with a link to you of course) and tell you how I worked some magic! I love a challenge so BRING IT ON! firstname.lastname@example.org
Here's a few examples using a couple of my own photos...
