184. How Does Your Garden Grow?

Annie Spratt January 26, 2017

Starting with some colour there as let's face it, the weather in the UK this week has been bleak. Beautiful, but bleak. A week where my hair literally froze on morning walk, thick fog lasted for three days and we burnt our entire supply of logs.

Though I love the browns of winter it's been nice to bring Spring to our home early in the form of daffodils & hyacinths. Oh the colours and scents!

 hyacinths

My daily walks are going really well, yesterday I headed to Hillier Gardens, which by the way looks completely different in the fog. Here's some photos...

I was thrilled to see some new life showing in amongst the brown hydrangeas...

And I'm finishing as I started!

Thanks to everyone who joined in last week - I hope that you've all been keeping warm!
